Sacramento Area Creek Council

Community Participation Makes it Possible - Please Get Involved

Anyone who values the Sacramento Valley watershed - including the natural creeks in our communities - and who would like to help protect these precious resources is invited to become a member of the Sacramento Area Creeks Council.

The all volunteer Sacramento Area Creeks Council is completely self supporting. Our many important programs and activities are funded entirely by grants, private donations, memberships, and business sponsorships of events and activities.

Membership is open to anyone who wants to help the Council build awareness of local creeks and the public's role in protecting them.

2004 Volunteers

Community support of the Council through membership dues, sponsorships, and tax-deductible donations is a vital investment in the enhancement and protection of our natural environment, in the education of our children and in the preservation of Sacramento's quality of life.

Your tax-deductible annual membership includes our quarterly newsletter, meeting announcements, and detailed information about ongoing events and activities. Chapter meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Arcade Creek Recreation and Park District.

Please visit our volunteer sign up page to give us your contact information and find a volunteer coordinator in your part of Sacramento County.

You can also download a membership application to mail in. For more information about the Sacramento Area Creeks Council, its programs and how you can get involved:
